The 5-Step Building & Use Permit Process
Everett Borough is a member of the Bedford County Association of Municipalities (BCAM), which contracts with Commonwealth Code Inspection Service (CCIS) / PA Municipal Code Alliance (PMCA). Follow these 5 steps for your construction or remodeling project.
Scope Project
Determine your construction, remodeling, or accessory structure plans. Calculate approximate dimensions and estimated total cost.
Borough Use Permit
Contact the Everett Borough Office at 100 Mechanic St (814-652-9202). If ordinances apply, the Borough issues a Use Permit ($10 fee).
PMCA Notification
The Everett Borough Office will notify PA Municipal Code Alliance (PMCA) or email your Use Permit directly to the PMCA Bedford office.
PMCA Application
Visit PMCA at 125 S. Richard St, Suite 102, Bedford (814-310-2326). Review plans, pay inspection fees, and receive your UCC building permit.
Build & Inspect
Start your project! You or your contractor will schedule required code inspections with PMCA until final Certificate of Occupancy is issued.
