Renter Responsibility & Park Rules

All income from rentals is used to pay for utilities, insurance, maintenance, and improvements to Tenley Park. Please review the updated Rental Agreement rules:

  • Park Hours: Open to the public between 8:00 AM and 9:00 PM throughout most of the year, unless otherwise posted. Closed during winter months (no winter road maintenance).
  • Leave No Trace: Facilities must be left in a clean and orderly condition. Tables and equipment must be returned to their original location. Do not use tape on painted picnic tables.
  • Restroom & Electric Key ($50 Deposit): Provided with security deposit. Bag and take trash to the Men's restrooms and replace the garbage bag in the receptacle provided.
  • Pavilion Electricity: Controlled from the box in the men's restroom (left wall red switches). Please turn off before leaving the park and lock the bathroom doors.
  • Prohibited Items: Alcoholic beverages, swimming or wading in ponds, horseback riding, driving nails into trees, and excessive noise are strictly prohibited.
  • Fishing & Pets: Pond fishing is Catch and Release only with non-barbed hooks. Pets must be leashed and droppings cleaned up (no pets in ponds).
Park Emergency Numbers: If an emergency arises during your event at the park, please call 911, the PA State Police at 814-623-6133, or County Control Non-Emergency at 814-623-1105.
